August 22nd: As summer winds down the valley will experience some very warm days for the first half of the week with daytime temperatures  on Monday and Tuesday in the high 90’s and Wednesday low 90’s. Thursday and Friday will settle back into the mid to low 80’s, and Saturday stays in the high 70’s. So a hot beginning with a cooling trend towards the end of the week. The hot temps should help those big full Cabernet grapes get ready for harvest. Evening temps will start in the high 50’s cooling to the low 50’s by the week’s end.  Cheers!
