Long Island’s East End Harvest and Wine Auction

A first annual event organized by the Long Island Merlot Alliance, Long Island Wine Council and supported by the New York Wine and Grape Foundation. To be held September 24th and 25th on Long Island’s East End. Come join the wineries of eastern Long Island as they celebrate the fall harvest. Enjoy exceptional wines from one of the most exciting and upcoming wine regions. Enjoy a special dinner Friday night, at one of ten spectacular private locations across the east end. Hurry some locations are already sold out! Attend “The Wine Salon”; one hour wine education sessions at wineries and other sites on Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Enjoy a grand tasting of Long Island wines, including wines to be offered at the auction near the Grand Prix ring at Wolffer Estate Vineyard. Finish the night at the Gala Dinner and wine auction.

Napa Town and Country Fair

The annual fair is held at the Napa Valley Expo nestled in downtown Napa. Kicking off Wednesday the 11th of August and continuing through Sunday the 15th.  The event includes exciting exhibits, carnival rides, livestock show with auction and vender booths. The Preview Gala and wine tasting will be held on Tuesday August 10th; featuring food sampling along with wine tasting from some of the Valley’s best wineries. The Chardonnay Symposium, Santa Maria, CA.

The Chardonnay Symposium was conceived to promote the varietal to wine consumers, wine trade, and wine media. Full-day tickets include transportation, a choice of one morning session, a wine tasting luncheon, a Riedel wine glass, and the Grand Chardonnay Tasting.  A panel of Chardonnay experts includes a star-studded lineup of winemakers representing the key Chardonnay growing regions in California.  Wineries represented on the panel include Au Bon Climat, Talley, Riverbench, Pisoni and more.  The Grand Tasting tickets will be sold separately for those interested in only attending the afternoon event.

6th Annual Pinot Days San Francisco

Sunday’s Grand Festival at Fort Mason in San Francisco will showcase over 220 phenomenal producers of pinot noir. Consumers will be able to sample up to 500 pinots from every important domestic pinot noir region, from the Russian River Valley to the Santa Lucia Highlands, Oregon to Carneros, the Anderson Valley to the Sonoma Coast to the Santa Rita Hills. 23rd Annual Santa Barbra Wine Festival

The 23rd annual Santa Barbara Wine Festival will host 75 premier Central Coast wineries along with savory and delectable delights. The event will be held at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. Stroll along the banks of Mission Creek as you taste some great wines. An adult only event, you can save up to $35.00 by purchasing your tickets by 5: 00 PM June 25th. Tickets are $60 for Museum members or $85 for non-members. Tickets will also be on sale at the door on a first come first serve basis at $95. Proceeds benefit the Museum’s exhibits and education programs. Finger Lakes Wine Festival

Celebrate the “Taste of the Lakes”, the event of the summer for 2010!

Sip and savor over 600 wines from 80 plus wineries. This three day event will be held July 17th – 19th rain or shine on the grounds of Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen New York.

The main festival will be held Saturday July 18th and Sunday July 19th with over 80 wineries pouring over 600 local wines. Enjoy cooking demonstrations and culinary classes while sampling culinary delights along with some great wines.  Local artists will display their arts, crafts and jewelry. Regional bands will perform live on three stages. A Champagne Breakfast, Tasters Banquet, Brewers Garden, pace car rides will also be available and much more. The event will kick off Friday July 17th from 6:30pm-9:30pm, with “Yancey’s Fancy Cheese Launch of the Lakes”. Join in a Toga Party along with award winning cheese, wine, live music and fireworks to cap off the night. The Main Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 5pm. Sonoma Artisan Cheese Festival

California’s Artisan Cheese Festival is a four day event to be held March 26th – 29th celebrating handcrafted cheeses, food, wines and beers from California and beyond. 20th Annual Savor Valley
