Art School 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon
Welcome to wine of the month for 2009! Here we are already in the New Year…how exciting! Our wine of the month for January is Art School 2005 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This unique wine is small production with only 336 cases produced. A very balanced wine that offers current, blackberry and some tobacco. We had purchased the 2004 Art School sometime last year and we recently pulled a bottle out of the cellar and remembered how much we had enjoyed it, thus the reason we recently purchased the 2005 vintage. It is a reasonably priced wine $20-$25, that drinks as though it may have a cost a bit more. Very easy drinking with a few power tannins on the finish.
